Local Choir

Local Choir

SHOW UP. SING. BELONG.

We all crave creative connection, spaces where we can just be and create with others. It’s a deeply human need, but it’s hard to find low-pressure spaces that help meet that need. That’s why Local Choir exists. This is choir for the modern era, and everyone has a part.

How does it work? We throw a monthly meet-up at Local Good Coffee Co. from 6:00-7:30 PM- it’s called “Local Choir Night.” This is a fun and collaborative event where we rehearse songs to add to our repertoire. Yes, we know the shop is closed at that time, we have a secret entrance just for us😉 (the doors by the volleyball courts).

We also have optional gigs through the year where we sing at various community events or in church services. We are a casual bunch and there’s no pressure, so you can pick and choose what gigs you want to participate in.

Cost: Free! Just show up!

Songs and Stories

Featuring Omoye Uzamere

Imagine there was a soundtrack to your life. What songs would mark important milestones, eureka moments, or turning points in your journey? Think of the albums that take you back to specific seasons of your life, those songs that hold the stories of who you were, how you’ve grown, and the experiences that shaped you. .

This is more than a performance, it’s a shared space for connection. Through rhythm, voice, and vulnerability, Omoye speaks to our shared humanity, creating an atmosphere where you’re not just a listener, but a part of the story too.

Cost: This event is donation-based, and every contribution helps make it possible. We suggest a donation of $25–$50. Cant donate right now? No Problem. Your presence matters most.
