We’re throwing a Block Party!
Join us for a morning full of fun! Play yard games, enjoy a bounce house, kids activities, and music. Plus, enjoy all the things you already love about Local Good Coffee Co.—pickleball, the playground, volleyball, basketball, and of course, amazing coffee.

Gather around the table with fellow coffee lovers for a relaxed, guided tasting experience. This hands-on cupping class teaches the fundamentals of coffee tasting, including aroma, acidity, body, and flavor notes (no wrong answers here), in an approachable, interactive setting. You can ask questions and explore topics like different roasting methods, coffee sourcing, and farmer relationships.

A Kids Gear & Clothing Swap for Families
Kids grow fast! Let’s share the good stuff. Bring clean, gently-loved kids clothing, toys, books, and gear that your family no longer needs — and take home items you do need. No selling, no cost. Just swapping, sipping coffee, and helping one another.
Cost: None, feel free to bring things you don’t want, or if you’re just “shopping” you’re welcome just to come too.

Young Adult Trivia Night
Join us at Local Good Coffee Co. for a fun and free Young Adult Trivia Night!
Whether you come solo or bring friends, you’ll find a seat at a table of up to six players and enjoy a mix of general trivia questions that anyone can play. It’s the perfect chance to test your knowledge, meet new people, and sip on your favorite drink while having a few laughs.

FAFSA Support
Join us for Coffee & Free FAFSA Support, a welcoming drop-in event designed to make the financial aid process easier and less intimidating. FAFSA is a Free Application for Federal Student Aid, the key to unlocking grants, scholarships, loans, and other financial help for college!
Enjoy a cup of coffee on us while receiving free, one-on-one help completing the FAFSA. Support will be available in English, Korean, and Spanish, and team will be on hand to answer questions, explain next steps, and help you feel confident moving forward.
This event is open to students, parents, and guardians, whether you’re completing the FAFSA for the first time or need help navigating updates or corrections. No appointment is necessary, just stop by, grab a coffee, and get the support you need.

Join us for storytime, a cozy moment to slow down after the busy holidays and start the new year off right.
After the stories, families can enjoy a fun, winter-themed craft. Stick around to grab a drink, catch up with friends, let the kids play, or head out to the playground. It’s a little time to relax, connect, and enjoy the season together.

Pictures with Santa
Take your own photos with Santa and enjoy hot chocolate and activities, totally free.
How it works:
1. Save your spot by signing up for a Free Santa Experience time slot that works for you. Walk-ins welcome!
2. Show up at Local Good Coffee Co. a few minutes early for your appointment, ready to capture the magic.
3. Take turns with other groups in your time slot to meet and snap photos with Santa. Stay and enjoy family-friendly crafts and yummy hot chocolate as you make holiday memories with loved ones!
We are offering a Sensory Friendly Hour from 4:30–5:30pm, during which we lower the lights and reduce noise to create a more comfortable environment for those who prefer a quieter setting.

Local Choir
SHOW UP. SING. BELONG.
We all crave creative connection, spaces where we can just be and create with others. It’s a deeply human need, but it’s hard to find low-pressure spaces that help meet that need. That’s why Local Choir exists. This is choir for the modern era, and everyone has a part.
How does it work? We throw a monthly meet-up at Local Good Coffee Co. from 6:00-7:30 PM- it’s called “Local Choir Night.” This is a fun and collaborative event where we rehearse songs to add to our repertoire. Yes, we know the shop is closed at that time, we have a secret entrance just for us😉 (the doors by the volleyball courts).
We also have optional gigs through the year where we sing at various community events or in church services. We are a casual bunch and there’s no pressure, so you can pick and choose what gigs you want to participate in.

Hosted by LaLa Lessons. These classes are the perfect opportunity to learn rhythm and tone through music & movement. Classes are for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 0-5) and the grownups who love them (mom, dad, grandparents, etc!) using an international & well researched curriculum by Music Together®️. Classes are play-based and welcome all the exploring, experimenting, and have the grownups model a love of learning and music!
Your registration includes a 45 minute family Music Together® class (geared toward little ones ages 0-5) offered by LaLa Lessons.

There are 4 brackets: beginner (2.25-3.0), intermediate A (3.0-3.5), Intermediate B (3.5-4.0), and Advanced (4.0-4.5).
Format will be Round-robin play leading to a playoff for the top 4 teams to compete for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
This is not a DUPR regulated event.

LOCAL ARTIST NIGHT - HANNAH LEE
Join us July 27th as North Texas based singer/songwriter Hannah Lee takes the stage with a full band. With nineteen original releases, Hannah Lee has defied genre barriers with her explorative songwriting. Fresh off the release of her debut album Bluebonnets, Lee is not afraid of showing her musical theatre roots through lush instrumentation and narrative storytelling floating over an indie pop sound.
